Maria Strømme
Professor of Nanotechnology at Uppsala University
Strømme is the author of ca. 300 international journal publications and the inventor behind 40+ patents. She is the founder of Disruptive Materials AB and has received prestigious awards. She was Swedish Woman of the Year in 2016 and keynote speaker at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2018. Her presentation is entitled “Nanotechnology: The driver of the next industrial revolution”. Amongst other things, she will discuss how nanotechnology can help treat cancer better and diagnose diseases before we get symptoms.
